Napa On Ice - Napa County's only holiday skating rink - opens to the public Saturday, November 8th, 2014. The rink will be open daily including holidays through January 11th, 2015.
Located in beautiful downtown Napa, at the corner of 2nd and Coombs Street. The outdoor ice rink features 5,600 square feet of real ice, and hosts daily ice skating, birthday parties, private ice time, and special events. Skaters will be able to skate in the sunshine during the day, and under the stars at night.
Some special programming at the rink includes "Rock the Rink" on Friday nights, and special promotions for "Family Night" on Tuesdays. Skating is only $12 per person , and includes skate rental. "Skate Buddies" to assist beginners and lockers are available for rental.

We are very proud to be part of Napa High's Soles4Souls. We will be collecting Shoes this week. Napa on Ice's last day this season is Jan. 11, 2015.

in fight against global poverty
Attention anyone with a closet: Those shoes you no longer want are desperately needed.
•Between January 5th and March 30th, bring your used shoes of any kind to:
•Napa High School, Browns Valley Elementary, River Middle School, NVUSD District Offices - Room 116, and more

Napa High School Teens in Service club, has launched a drive to collect 25,000 shoes to help the poor. Used and new shoes can be dropped off at various business locations and school sites across Napa; including Napa High School, Redwood, Silverado and River Middle Schools, Vichy and Browns Valley Elementary School, NVUSD District Offices and Napa on Ice. Senior students Samantha Wakerlin and Scott Kunihiro are managing this effort as part of their senior project at Napa High School.
The shoes that Teens in Service collects will be delivered to Soles4Souls, an international anti-poverty organization that monetizes used shoes and clothing to create sustainable jobs and fund direct relief efforts, including distribution of new shoes and clothing. Founded in 2007, the organization has distributed more than 22 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries.
